Mechanism of Action
Tesamorelin binds to GHRH receptors on pituitary somatotrophs, stimulating the synthesis and pulsatile release of endogenous growth hormone. Unlike exogenous hGH administration, Tesamorelin preserves the natural pulsatile pattern of GH secretion and maintains feedback regulation. This makes it particularly valuable for studying physiological GH release mechanisms.
