By accessing or using the Helix Biotech website (helixbiotech.co.uk) or purchasing any products from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our website or purchase our products.

Our products are intended exclusively for purchase and use by qualified researchers, scientists, and professionals operating within appropriate laboratory or research settings. By placing an order, you confirm that you are a qualified researcher and that the products will be used solely for legitimate scientific research purposes.

We reserve the right to refuse orders at our sole discretion and to request evidence of research credentials. We may cancel any order where we have reasonable grounds to believe the eligibility requirements are not met.

All products sold by Helix Biotech are strictly for research purposes only. They are not intended for:

By purchasing our products, you acknowledge and agree that you will use them solely for lawful scientific research and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. You accept full responsibility for ensuring that your use of our products complies with all relevant legislation, including but not limited to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, and any applicable import/export controls.

Order acceptance: Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. A binding contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We are not obliged to accept any order.

Pricing: All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of checkout.

Payment: Payment is required in full at the time of ordering. We accept major credit and debit cards processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your card details.

Order cancellation before dispatch: You may cancel an order before it has been dispatched by contacting us immediately at [email protected]. Once dispatched, our returns policy applies.

VAT: Helix Biotech Ltd is registered for VAT in the United Kingdom. VAT is charged at the applicable rate on all eligible orders.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you are a consumer (not purchasing for business or research purposes), you have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods without giving any reason.

However, please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

Given the nature of our products (research-grade peptides and compounds with strict storage and handling requirements), the right of withdrawal will not apply to any order where the product packaging has been opened or the product has been used.

To exercise your right of withdrawal for eligible unopened goods, you must notify us at [email protected] within 14 days of receipt. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method as your original transaction.

Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights.

UK dispatch: We dispatch orders from the United Kingdom. Standard delivery times are 1–3 working days from dispatch. Next-day delivery is available for orders placed before 2pm on working days, subject to availability.

Same-day dispatch: Orders placed before 2pm on working days are eligible for same-day dispatch, subject to stock availability.

Delivery address: You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. We cannot be held liable for non-delivery resulting from incorrect address details provided by you.

Risk and title: Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery. Title passes upon receipt of full payment.

International orders: We currently dispatch within the United Kingdom only. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that importing research compounds complies with the laws, regulations, and import controls of your jurisdiction.

Due to the nature of our products (research-grade compounds with strict storage requirements), we are unable to accept returns of opened or used products.

Damaged or incorrect goods: If you receive damaged or incorrect products, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected] with photographic evidence. We will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.

Faulty goods: If a product is faulty or does not conform to its description, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Please contact us within 30 days of receipt.

Statutory rights: Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, or other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
