3. Research Use Only
All products sold by Helix Biotech are strictly for research purposes only. They are not intended for:
Human consumption or therapeutic use
Veterinary use
Cosmetic application
Any use outside of a controlled laboratory or research environment
Our products have not been evaluated or approved by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), or any other regulatory authority for therapeutic, diagnostic, or preventative use in humans or animals.
By purchasing our products, you acknowledge and agree that you will use them solely for lawful scientific research and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
4. Orders and Payment
Order acceptance: Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. An order is accepted when we send you an order confirmation email.
Pricing: All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of checkout.
Payment: Payment is required in full at the time of ordering. We accept major credit and debit cards processed through our secure payment provider.
Order cancellation: You may cancel an order before it has been dispatched by contacting us immediately. Once dispatched, our returns policy applies.
5. Delivery
UK dispatch: We dispatch orders from the United Kingdom. Standard delivery times are 1–3 working days from dispatch.
Same-day dispatch: Orders placed before 2pm on working days are eligible for same-day dispatch, subject to stock availability.
Delivery address: You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. We cannot be held liable for non-delivery resulting from incorrect address details.
Risk and title: Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery. Title passes upon receipt of full payment.
International orders: We currently dispatch within the United Kingdom only. It is your responsibility to ensure that importing research compounds complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.
6. Returns and Refunds
Due to the nature of our products (research-grade compounds with strict storage requirements), we are unable to accept returns of opened or used products.
Damaged or incorrect goods: If you receive damaged or incorrect products, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. We will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.
Statutory rights: Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the value of that order.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
