What is BPC157?
BPC-157 (Body Protecting Compound) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide derived from a protective protein found in gastric juice. Mechanism of Action
BPC-157 promotes angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation) through upregulation of VEGF, accelerating nutrient delivery to injured tissue. It upregulates growth hormone receptors in tendon fibroblasts, enhancing their repair capacity. It also modulates the nitric oxide system to improve blood flow and counteracts NSAID-induced gastrointestinal damage by protecting the gut mucosa. Its anti-inflammatory effects are mediated through COX-2 pathway modulation.
